Abstract:Fusarium infections are associated with high mortality after allogeneic stem cell transplantation. We report on successful treatment of a disseminated cutaneous Fusarium proliferatum infection using liposomal amphotericin B and terbinafine. In vitro susceptibility tests of antifungal drugs suggest that terbinafine is a potent additional antifungal drug for disseminated cutaneous fusariosis
