Abstract:Linkage analysis in German breast cancer families with early onset of the disease by using six markers on chromosome 17q11-q24 has been carried out. In the region between markers D17S250 and GH, three markers showed positive LOD scores at an estimated distance of zero. Evidence for linkage is greatest for D17S250, with a LOD score of 2.42.
