Title: | Advances in gene targeting methods |
Creators Name: | Kühn, R. and Schwenk, F. |
Abstract: | Gene targeting in embryonic stem cells is commonly used for gene inactivation and the generation of mouse mutants. The combined use of methods for site-specific and homologous DNA recombination expands the potential of gene targeting in embryonic stem cells considerably and offers the opportunity of conditional gene targeting in mice. |
